BSA Troop 1001B
The Scouting program is open to boys age 11-17.
“With more than 130 Merit Badges—from Archery and Art to Welding and Wilderness Survival—Scouting is the ultimate form of learning by doing. Scouts explore their interests and improve their skills while working toward Scouting’s highest rank: Eagle. By first imagining, planning then doing their own service projects, Scouts learn the value of hard work, and experience the thrill of seeing it pay off.
Add in outdoor adventures, hiking and camping, and Scouting gives youth experience that will benefit them throughout their life.” BSA Official Statement

Cub Scout Pack 1001
The Cub Scouting program is designed for youth grades K-5 and is open to boys and girls.
“Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. In Cub Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.”

to help other people at all times;
to keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.
Scout Law

The Outdoor Code
As an American, I will do my best to,
Be clean in my outdoor manners,
Be Carful with fire,

Be Conservation minded.
BSA Mission
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
The Scout slogan is Do a Good Turn Daily. That means doing something to help others each day without expecting anything in return. It implies that Scouts do their part in caring for the community and the environment.
